McKenzie was NOT excited for spring break. She would go to school 7 days a week all year and LOVE it! Spring Break came nonetheless. We had a super fun and busy week...
Saturday & Sunday we were able to attend a Conference for the LDS Church members in our area. Elder David A. Bednar was our special guest. He is one of the twelve apostles. Rich was able to attend the Priesthood leadership session on Saturday afternoon and i got to go the the adult session that evening. I sat on the front row. As he walked in to the chapel I felt an overwhelming warmth and the Holy ghost testified to me that he is a true & living prophet! It was an incredible experience! Sunday morning we all got to go here him and others speak. It was a very wonderful and spiritual experience. I am so grateful for the unique opportunity to hear a prophet speak and even more grateful that my children could share that experience as well.
Rich had Tuesday off so we hung out and relaxed... ate a couple pounds of bacon for breakfast, played some baseball and enjoyed some good quality family time!
Wednesday we went to story time at the library and played on the playground and had a water fight.
Thursday we went to the St. Louis Science Center! It was our first time here... SO cool and super fun and super FREE (except parking)...

| SUPER CREEPY! The life-size t-rex roared and breathed and tossed his head around... Bailey wasn't scared, just mesmerized... |
| She could not take her eyes off of t-rex! |
| In the weather center they had a tornado simulator that had swirls of fog. bailey was frustrated that she couldnt catch it hahaha |
| CHEESE |
| Bailey loved this statue. Pretty sure she thought it was real. She kept running back to it and hugging it |
| This is so cool! It projects images from the ceiling and it reacts to where you step. Fireworks explode under your feet or kick the soccer ball image... this one was my favorite... A puddle on the pavement with the reflection of beautiful architecture ... wherever you step it makes ripples. It was so real looking that bailey was completely perplexed. She kept trying to splash in it with her hands but she wouldn't walk in it. SO hilarious! |
| Architecture area... Mac built this arch and was so proud of herself! |
| The view from above the dino area... thats a triceratops that is fighting for breath with a huge t-rex gash in his side... scary! |
| Another Bailey favorite was the salt fish tank. "OOOOOOOO" |
I had a really REALLY hard time convincing Braxton to leave the dino area... That is a real piece of a t-rex jaw bone with teeth and all! He could've spent all stinkin day in here!
Friday we went to the History Museum with our church playgroup. We went to Dwarfs & Fairies storytime and made fairy wings for a craft. b was NOT happy "MOM, THAT CRAFT IS NOT AWESOME AT ALL!"
