More September Fun!

Primary Program! The kids were all asked to wear white. They looked so cute! B was not thrilled about pictures though. SHOCKER!

I convinced Rich to take us to Germanfest downtown. We spent a crap ton of money on dumb rides and crappy food but we still had fun. The only delicious thing? Tamales of course! Makes no sense for German Fest but dang they were good! The schnitzel & Spätzle? VOMIT! Tasted like cardboard drenched in wall paper paste! Should’ve followed the kids lead and just gotten papa johns pizza LOL!

The Doellman’s came to town for a day trip and we hit up Jilly’s (of course) and played at the park. It’s always a good time when we get to play with Ri & D! Poor Amanda was about to pop though! WE CAN;T WAIT FOR BABY DOELLMAN #3 TO GET HERE ALREADY!!!

We also got to play at the Science Center with The Greenwoods!

I guess I better learn how to do this blog stuff.  I don't do FaceBook but I enjoy reading all the family blogs.  What better way to bust into blogging than to do one on Cardinal baseball?  Braxton and I went to the Reds vs. Cardinals game to have a little "Man Time" as we like to call it.  We sat downstairs in the box seats in left field.  I always enjoy the view from the outfield.  Braxton brought his glove to hopefully catch a HR ball.  No chance in this pitcher's duel.  Braxton and I brought home a winner with a 2-1 Red Birds winner off a Tommy Pham triple and a Stephen Piscotty double.  We also witnessed Trevor Rosenthal's 47th save of the season - tying a club record.  He ended the season with 48 saves.  He holds the Cardinal single season record in saves.

Labor Day Smith Fun!

PARTY AT OUR PLACE! Mitch and his fam, Amanda and her fam, Grandma, Pa Pa, and Matt all came to play for labor day weekend! I was so excited to see everyone but the VERY best part? WE GOT TO MEET MY NEPHEW, OREN, FOR THE VERY FIRST TIME! Good heavens that kid is cute beyond words and he is so sweet and laid back. Those EYES! The blue goes on forever! MY OLDEST SISTER/AUNT HEART WAS SO HAPPY!!!

We basically just hung out at the house and chilled all weekend but it was still a blast! The Slip N Slide was the highlight of our fun. More specifically MITCH in his full MINIONS swimming outfit on the slip n slide flinging kids across the yard was the highlight! Dying laughing just typing this and looking at pictures. Thanks for coming to play guys! We love you and can’t wait to play again soon!
