BOO!!!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!

The kids had all kinds of Halloween festivities this year... School Parties, Church Party, Costume Parades, Trick-or-Treat on Main Street, Trick-or-Treat around our neighborhood. They were BUSY! And Bailey took full advantage and wore a different costume to every even of course! Bonus? DOELLMANS!!! I could not be more grateful that we get to do so many fun things with Amanda, Chris, Rilea, Dylan, and now BABY BARRETT!!! Thank you guys for coming to play! WE LOVE YOU!!!
We had an awesome weekend with Witch, Luke, Anna, Else, The Inquisistor and baby football! Oh and Elsa and Anna's dead mom made an appearance when McKenzie changed her costume into an angel... totally her morbid idea! Hilarious and super weird!!! Main Street was a huge BUST and we bribed the kids to leave after they waited for 10 minutes n line for a mini tootsie roll! B looked in his basically empty bucket and said "WHAT A RIP!!!" Yes, total rip! So we hit up the neighborhood and loaded them buckets!!!

And to top it all off they got spoiled by Grandpa & Grandma Bowman!

October Fun!

We love fall and all the fun things there are to do! Pardon the randomness of this post. Lots of great pics from all the awesomeness that is October!...

The big kids had a school carnival and bought tickets to put their friends in "jail". It was a riot!

Bug had a petting zoo come to her school! Didn't smell great but she sure had a blast!

Best part of October? DOELLMAN VISIT!!! We got to see baby Barrett again. He is sooooooooo cute!!! We went apple picking at our favorite spot... Eckert's! We carved pumpkins in prep for Halloween (another post for another day) and held baby Barrett a LOT!!!

GOING TO THE BEACH, BEACHES!

Rich suggested that title. BAHAAAAA! Mini vaca time! Long weekend off…where should we go? Uhhhhh FLORIDA!!!! Back story – One of my very best friends in the whole world moved to Florida this spring and took her whole family that we love equally as much with her. I bawled like a baby and so did my kids. Upside? GOING TO VISIT THEM IN PANAMA CITY!!! Rich is the only one who had ever been to Florida. He went for a basketball tournament as a teenager. I LOVE GOING NEW PLACES! Plus we hadn’t been to a beach since B was a baby (San Diego). Bug has never seen the ocean and the other two didn’t remember it. To say we were excited was a massive understatement. MASSIVE! Teneill’s house was beautiful and they were nice enough (or crazy enough) to let us stay with them for the weekend and show us around! We spent most of the time at the beach. The kids were in heaven and so were we! The water was so clear and the sky was so blue and the sand was so soft and we didn’t want to leave EVER!!! We collected seashells, went body boarding, ate amazing seafood, built sand castles, caught tiny hermit crabs, got sunburned, ate some more, watched the sunset over the ocean, and did it all with people we LOVE! Playing with Teneill, Corban, Pepper, Lincoln, and Lucia made our trip ten times better! We also went to a really cool mini Sea World knock off called Gulf World. They had all kinds of amazing animals and even a dolphin show! SO MUCH FUN! Thank you so much Russells for giving us an unforgettable weekend for the Bowman Record Books! We love you and miss you already!
