The Time has COME! School & Face Rocking

Time to go back to school! Kenzie is in 4th grade now. B is in 2nd and Bailey is starting her second year of Pre-K! STOP GROWING ALREADY!!! The kids just LOVE when I make them take pictures (SARCASM!!!) especially when I make them twice since they started school on different days. Bailey actually does like it so there are always more of her.

Random pic Kenz took on my phone...

Bug's big back to school project!

I LOVE that my kids love to read! Don't know why this kid chooses the most random and uncomfortable places to do so though.

To celebrate back to school Rich & I went to a FOO FIGHTER’S CONCERT!!! Okay, it had nothing to do with back to school. Once upon a time we were young and cool (and skinny) and we would go to concerts all the time. It was a good reminder that we are still cool, or at least we tell ourselves that. BEST DATE NIGHT EVER! Or in a while at least J The crazy part was Dave Groll (lead Singer) broke his leg earlier in the tour so he sat in a throne the crew made him that spun around and lit up and moved around so he didn’t have to walk. It was mind blowing that he was still able to rock like a mad man seated the whole time! Thanks baby for rocking your face off with me!!! I LOVE YOU!!!

And a random pic on the drive home of my favorite STL bridge. So amazing! I love this place we call home!!!

Last Days of Summer...

Only one week left till school starts. They are ready, I AM READY, but we have to have a little more fun first so we hit up the zoo and our favorite splash pad! B wins for both of my favorite pics on this post. B pretending to be a meerkat and B begging me to play baseball with him AT THE SPLASH PAD. The kid is a junky! He takes his glove with him everywhere! Good bye summer. Hello SCHOOL!!!...

Hey RI/D, It’s your BIRTHDAY!

We Gonna PARTY like it’s your BIRTHDAY!

We love going to Quincy and playing with Amanda, Chris, Rilea & Dylan! We got in the night before the party and Amanda and I stayed up way too late making way too many cupcakes and taste testing WAY too much homemade butter cream frosting! We groaned and laughed all the way to bed. It’s random time with my sister like that that I love the most! “Remember that time we almost puked from eating so much frosting?”

The party was a blast! We played at a playground and had water fights and opened presents and ate even more frosting (this time on top of cupcakes though). Good times had by all!

Chirs’s dad Jim let us stay the night out at the farm. I love going out there! It does my heart good to see the kids without electronics and running around getting dirty, catching frogs and bugs and exploring! Those yuppy kids snap out of it quick when they get out in the fresh country air! Roasting dogs and brats and mallows… one of our favorite things to do!

We had an awesome weekend of course! Thanks for letting us party with you guys! We love you and miss you already!!!
